Jim Glatt, owner of Computer Guru stated working on computers in the early 1990s. His first new computer was a Plain Jane Packard Bell 486. With-in a year he added a sound card, CD-Rom, modem, and ram. When an Intel Over-Drive CPU was marketed and Microsoft released Windows 95 the system was up-graded.

In order to document his skills Jim enrolled in International Correspondence Schools, P.C. Repair course and received a diploma within a few months.

In September of 1996 Computer Guru opened as a home based business. Over the years Jim focused on offering computer repairs to home computer users.

In July of 2007 Jim was given the opportunity for paid TRA training. He enrolled in DuBois Business College to obtain an Associate in Specialized Business Degree majoring in Information Systems Support Technician.
